The best way we can take our elections back is by making big campaign contributions matter less. We can do this in New York through Fair Elections for New York: public financing of elections, lower contribution limits, and strong enforcement. By encouraging candidates to raise money from small donations, and then matching those small donations with public funding, candidates don’t have to rely on deep-pocket donors and CEO campaign contributors to run for office.
