I'm a 99% Voter

I believe our elected leaders should stand up for the interests of millions of families in the 99%, not just the wealthiest 1%.  As 99% voters, we demand that our elected leaders:

Make the wealthiest 1% pay their fair share. Millionaires, big corporations and Wall Street bankers should not pay a lower tax rate than teachers, nurses and secretaries.

Create good jobs now. We need to end tax breaks for millionaires and big corporations that ship jobs overseas, and instead invest in creating jobs here and putting money in people’s pockets right now.

Stop cuts to vital services. We should put families first by protecting the vital services that average Americans count on, like education, Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

Represent people, not corporations. We need campaign finance reforms that will end the unchecked influence of corporate money on politics and our politicians.
