Buffalo: Presentation on Health Insurance Options for Low-Income Seniors

Come join us for the third of a series of three PowerPoint presentations at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library. This weeks presenation will discuss Medicaid, Family Health Plus, Medicare Savings Programs, and Part D Low Income Subsidy (often referred to as "Extra Help").

The Public Policy and Education Fund was founded in 1986 to address critical social, economic, racial and environmental issues facing low and moderate income New York State residents. Our areas of work have included health care, education, after-school programs, voter participation, economic development and consumer issues. A member of the Health Care for All New York coalition, PPEF fought  to win significant health care reform.
