Rally for a Fracking Ban at Senator McDonald's Office!

Join us in rallying for a ban on fracking outside of Senator McDonald's district office in Troy on Thursday, June 14. That's exactly one week from the end of the 2012 Legislative Session, and this rally is part of a statewide day of action demanding a ban on fracking. The science is clear that nothing short of a ban on fracking will protect New Yorkers, and it's time that our elected officials act in our best interests.

What: Rally outside of Senator McDonald's district office to call on him to support a ban on fracking (S4220).

When: Thursday, June 14 at 12:00 - 1:00 PM.

Where: Outside of Senator McDonald's troy Office, 433 River Street, Troy, NY.

Who: You, your friends, your family, and fellow activists.

Bring your signs and bring your voice!

In spite of overwhelming evidence showing that fracking cannot be done safely, Senator McDonald has refused to support legislation to protect New Yorkers from this dangerous practice. As the legislative session draws to a close, our elected officials need to know that their inaction will not go unnoticed. There will also be rallies outside of other Senators' offices who have similarly put the gas industry ahead of the best interests of their constituents.
